Welcome to the new book club that has the same name and the same standards of bringing you fresh, gutsy, entertaining and, well… very, very good books.
We have decided that since our generation – more than our parents’ or any other-
experiences an unrelenting squeeze of our free time by work, over-committed schedules, families and more, that we would relieve you of a few more commitments from your hectic schedule by reducing the number of meetings over the course of a year to five.
In doing so we hope to create a special evening of fun and engaging book talks that will be complimented by great local cuisine in a vibrant setting, as the new meeting location for the club will be at The Glass House Bistro, located on the upper floor of The Enjoy Centre.
See you in August!

The Love Affairs of Nathaniel P. by Adelle Waldman
Writer Nate Piven’s star is rising. After several lean and striving years, he has his pick of both magazine assignments and women: Juliet, the hotshot business reporter; Elisa, his gorgeous ex-girlfriend, now friend; and Hannah, “almost universally regarded as nice and smart, or smart and nice,”. When one relationship grows more serious, Nate is forced to consider what it is he really wants. “Adelle Waldman just may be this generation’s Jane Austen”—The Boston Globe
Tampa by Alyssa Nutting
Celeste Price is an eighth-grade English teacher in suburban Tampa. She’s undeniably attractive. She drives a red Corvette with tinted windows. Her husband, Ford, is rich, square-jawed, and devoted to her. But Celeste’s devotion lies elsewhere. She has a singular sexual obsession—fourteen-year-old boys. Celeste pursues her craving with sociopathic meticulousness; her sole purpose in becoming a teacher is to fulfill her passion and provide her access to her compulsion. “A highly diverting read… Ms.
Nutting lands it.”—New York Times
